Bear-ly believable

1200 bears remain on bear farms in Vietnam. They were illegally captured, usually as cubs, after their mother was slaughtered. The bears then faced years of cruel treatment having bear bile extracted by syringe into their gall bladder.

Numbers have fallen dramatically over the past decade as has bear bile consumption. It is time, once and ‘fur’ all, to end bear farming in Vietnam. Let’s make it happen.
